Great email and LP customization, needs better reporting
We used Tremendous to send out virtual gift cards to our clients. We sent out gift cards as a thank you for taking our annual client survey as well as a holiday gift. Due to the pandemic, we are not able to send physical gifts to our clients. Tremendous makes it easier for us to say thank you without sending anything physical.

Tremendous allowed us for more customization to the email and landing page, Rybbon had their own branding on the email and page which was something we did not want. One of the main selling points for us with Tremendous was the ability to use our own firm's email domain. This allowed us to send an email coming from our firm, so our clients and prospects recognized the domain.

Tremendous is great for research participant compensation
We use Tremendous to send incentives for research participation to our customers. Several members of the research and product teams have accounts, and the head of the research team approves each transaction. We vary the amount sent by research activity, and the recipient can choose where they want to redeem their reward.

- providing instructions for using virtual Visa cards online
- We can send gift cards quickly, as a team, without having to wait for accounting to send them as a batch (as we did previously with Amazon gift cards). However, a manager still approves all orders.
- We can send gift cards to pretty much anyone around the world. Our customers across the globe participate in virtual research activities, and they can get a reward that they can use. Amazon gift cards can't do that.
- The variety of options for redeeming digital gift cards (especially, being able to donate it to charity) makes it appealing to wider proportion of people. This way it's a better incentive for our customers to participate in research activities.
- The fact that it's free to use means Tremendous has had a very positive ROI on our research operations. We've gained much and lost nothing.

Great platform for distributing gift cards
We use Tremendous to distribute incentives to research participants upon successful completion of a focus group, in-depth interview, or video response on a survey. The platform is very easy to use and allows us to quickly send out gift cards to respondents. Recipients have the ability to select a gift card of their choosing, which makes it great from a customer perspective as well.
- Email and landing page templates easy to create
- Wide variety of gift card options
- Easy to upload recipient lists and distribute
- No fee for most gift card options
- Users are not notified that they've selected a reward option that has a fee until the final screen before placing order
- The final screen showing that there will be a fee associated with a reward does not say which reward is charging the fee, so if you want to remove it you have to go through a trial and error process
- Sometimes the reward amount does not import when uploading a list of recipients, forcing the user to enter manually through the website or attempting to re-upload the file (note, this issue has gotten better in recent months)

- It saves us time with distributing incentives, since we can simply upload a file with names and email addresses, click a button, and the rewards are sent
- It allows us to lower our costs due to the time savings mentioned above, which provides added value to our clients
- The technology is a big selling point for us when winning work by being able to say we have the ability to quickly distribute respondent incentives and that the respondents have so many options to choose from when redeeming their reward

Great for easily sending international rewards
We implemented a referral program for our software to reward our customers when they recommend our product to their friends. Our user base is international, so we needed a way to send rewards around the world without a lot of hassle. Tremendous let us accomplish this by letting our customers choose a gift card specific to their region.

- Pulls funds directly from our bank account, funding is easy
- We do not have insight into whether a customer has redeemed a reward or not
- Unredeemed rewards kind of go into a void, we cannot get funds back for unclaimed rewards

We investigated Amazon Business account for sending cards directly, but we would have to register in each country and they only supported a few countries. Not to mention their interface was not nearly as streamlined as Tremendous. There really weren't many other competitors that we could find at the time. And we didn't need any, Tremendous has met our needs very well.
